PART 3: The Ultimate Wedding Gift

"I don't want anything from you!" Eleanor hissed, stepping in front of Ryan as if to shield him from the truth. "If you think you can use these... these bastards to extort a single penny from the

Montgomery fortune, you are sorely mistaken. I will bury you in court!"

"Mother, stop," Ryan choked out, unable to tear his eyes away from the boys. "They're mine. Look at them. They're mine."

"They are my sons," I corrected coldly, shifting my gaze to Eleanor. "And you have it entirely

backward, Eleanor. I didn't come here for your money. I came here to tell you that you're out of it."

I held out the envelope. A heavy, terrified silence fell over the Montgomery family.

Ryan slowly reached out and took it. His hands were shaking as he broke the gold seal and pulled out the legal documents inside.

"For the past three years, the Montgomery Corporation has been bleeding money," I announced, making sure my voice carried to the Senator, the investors, and the elite guests watching the trainwreck unfold. "You've been desperately searching for a silent buyer to acquire your massive debts before you go bankrupt. A holding company named Apex Global stepped in and bought it all."

Ryan’s eyes widened as he read the signature at the bottom of the document. He looked up at me, pure terror in his eyes.

"You..." he whispered.

"Yes," I smiled. "I am the CEO and sole owner of Apex Global. Which means, as of yesterday at

5:00 PM, I own seventy percent of the Montgomery empire. I own the building your offices are in. I own the yachts you vacation on." I paused, letting my eyes sweep over the lavish estate. "I even own the mortgage on this very mansion."

Eleanor gasped, clutching her chest as if she had been physically struck. She stumbled backward, caught only by one of her horrified wealthy friends.

Victoria let out a loud, humiliating sob, throwing her bouquet to the ground as her father, the Senator, grabbed her arm and began dragging her away from the altar, desperately trying to

distance his political career from this financial scandal.

"Olivia, please," Ryan begged, his voice cracking. Tears were actually pooling in his eyes as he looked at the family he could have had. The empire he just lost. "We can fix this. Let me be a father to them."

"You lost that right the day you let her," I pointed at Eleanor, "put me at Table 27."

I turned around, the emerald silk of my gown catching the wind.

"Come on, boys," I said softly. "It's time to go."

"Okay, Mama," Mason chirped, while Ethan and Luke obediently followed.

We walked back to the waiting convoy of black SUVs, leaving the absolute ruins of the Montgomery family behind us. I didn't come to stop the wedding. I came to show them that I was no longer a victim in their world.

I was the one who owned it.
